2015 MLB Draft (Day 3)

Sorry this post is a little late. I was swamped with assignments yesterday (#DatCollegeLife). To the point where it kept me away from my precious Yankees prospects.

Yesterday was the third portion of the 2015 MLB Player Draft. Although there were a ton of high caliber players available, most of those guys were left there due to sign ability issues, and various other things. As far as the Yankees are concerned they went with mainly college guys (again) and a few high schoolers. Expect most of the Yankees picks to sign and for some to not sign and move on.

Most of guys are college guys. Whether or not they sign remains to be seen. If they do sign, I can't imagine they'd go for very much.

The best name in the bunch is probably Icezack Flemming, you're not going to find a better baseball name than that.

And that concludes the 2015 MLB Player Draft. The Yankees mainly made safe picks, and like last year they went college heavy (as did the rest of the MLB) and with guys who look to zip through the system very quickly. Considering how there's a huge haul of international prospects headed for the lower levels from last year's July 2 signing period, this is probably the Yankees' way of balancing everything and also throwing everything on a wall and seeing what sticks.
Hopefully I get to see some of these guys in action in SI soon :).

As always thanks for stopping by and take care :).
